At Westview, we take the health and safety of our campers and staff seriously.  Every camper and every counselor will undergo a health check-in that includes current COVID-19 precautions as outlined by the CDC.  In addition, Westview will maintain stringent cleaning, social distancing, and health procedures as outlined by the CDC, ACA (American Camping Association, and CCA (Christian Camping Association).

                                Counselor-in-Training Camp (CIT) 2022

                                                            July 10-15

Do you have an interest in working at Westview but aren't really sure what it's all about? Or maybe you aren't old enough to work yet, but don't want to miss out on another awesome week of camp? This program is for you!

CIT Week is filled with all your favorite activities at camp plus you get the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities and learn what being a Camp Counselor is all about. Each day, CITs will spend half their day learning about counselor responsibilities and serving fellow campers in various ways. For the rest of the day, you will participate in activities and spend time with fellow campers.

There is some hard work involved with being a CIT, you will work on projects such as trail clearing and helping plan and set-up for nighttime activities, even helping Counselors clean-up after some of the meals. However, we always have fun in everything we do!

All CITs will go through First Aid/CPR/AED training and receive a certificate of completion for the program. If you are interested in applying for a Camp Counselor position in future years, this program can benefit you tremendously by helping you to better understand the responsibilities that go into being a Counselor as well as giving Westview a chance to get to know you better before you apply.

When you begin your registration process, you will be given information to read before registering.  Please read carefully.  This includes our cancellation policy along with other important information.
