Aquatic Education

Since 1981, Westview has been providing a place for families and individuals to come play, relax and learn to swim in our Z-shaped pool nestled in the woods of Westview. 

Westview's mission is to offer "a place apart" for Christian hospitality and learning that help people of all ages affirm and grow in their faith as they experience the wonder of God's creation.

     One way we can do this is to provide a pool setting where fun, recreation and learning can take place in an atmosphere of Christian fellowship.  Beginning Memorial Day Weekend and continuing until Labor Day Weekend. Working in association with the Goochland Recreation Department we offer Red Cross swimming lessons for children, youth and adults throughout the summer. 

Pool Staff:    The safety of our pool guests is our number one concern.  Our lifeguards all have current lifeguard training which includes First-aid and Professional CPR.  Our lifeguards continue to train throughout the summer.  We are fortunate to have Krissy Fulton as our Pool Manager, this will be her 15th summer with Westview.  She is a 2nd grade teacher at Byrd Elementary School in Western Goochland County, a Red Cross Water Safety Instructor, First-Aid and CPR Instructor.
