Shelters

Westview has two large picnic shelters.  One is located along the banks of the James River and the other is in the central camp area near the Hogans. Both provide cover from the sun or rain as you enjoy great food, fellowship and outdoor fun.

The River Shelter is surrounded by grassy fields providing space for softball, volleyball, horseshoes and more.  Nearby the shelter is Westview's own boat landing, riverside camping spaces and quiet places to think and fish. Plenty of parking space is available.

The Hogan Hill Shelter is open on three sides is located in the heart of Westview. The pool, dining hall, and Hogans are within short walking distance. The shelter is equipped with a basketball goal at one end and a fireplace in the other. Westview's lake can be reached by hiking the Lake Trail which travels near the shelter. Restrooms are nearby at the Hogan Hill Bathhouse.
