Campers, Parents, Counselors...

      Summer Camp Open House is May 4th from 2pm- 6pm.  Tell your friends and come out for an afternoon of camp fun, friends and food.  This is a great opportunity to meet some of the counselors, check out the Hogans, ask questions and try out some of the activities.  The great thing about this day is parents can play too!  We will be here Rain or Shine -come join the fun!

      Staff Training begins May 2-4th for Junior Counselors.  This  is the first of many training days for our camp staff in preparation for camp times.  Fun and Safety are priority ONE.

     Westview is the perfect place to learn about this year's biblical theme, "Handle With Care".  Our woods, streams, fields, lake and river form God's classroom.  The Sun and stars a glorious ceiling.  As seekers of knowledge we can learn much from what is around us in the natural world.  In the Old Testament, Job shares, "Ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds of the air, and they will tell you, or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, or let the fish of the sea inform you."  Now the animals may not literally speak to us, but we can learn much from them and the natural rhythms of nature.  We should have a great time learning together how we can all be better stewards of God's great gift to each of us - the good earth.
